Its that time again, bru!

Mr Price Pro Ballito Coastal Living Bru Food and Wine Festival.

Fire. Wood. Water. Metal. Earth.
All the elements will meet in perfect harmony at the annual Mr Price Pro Ballito Coastal Living Bru Food and Wine Festival.
The festival, launched last year as part of the mega surfing competition, aims to display the lifestyle of the North Coast through cook-offs, restaurant showcases, artisan food and brew crafters, fashion shows and appearances by local celebrity chefs. You will have the chance to test the elements at three cooking competitions over three days.
The Fine Young Cooks competition is open to all budding young chefs between 12 and 17 years old. Entrants will compete in an elimination round on June 21, following which the top 12 will battle each other at the festival.
Pro chefs can enter ‘So You Think You Can Cook – Ballito Style’ where eight teams comprising one professional chef and one amateur will cook off against the clock and opposing teams. There will be two elimination rounds and one final, with both being run as a “mystery box” competition under the theme: Five elements of the earth and food.
The third competition, ‘Are You the Ballito Cake Boss?’ presents the perfect opportunity for couch- Cake-Bosses to don an apron and whip up an amazing confectionery, styled and decorated to catch the judges’ attention.
Elimination rounds will take place on June 21 and your cake must have at least one of the five elements of the earth.
The top three creative cakes will be chosen to compete in the main competition.
So, whether you are a foodie pro or pleb, join in and showcase the best the North Coast has to offer.
Get your entry forms in early to stand a chance of being part of this fantastic event and stand a chance of walking away with the grand prize.
