What right does Roger Govender have to criticise the actions of the Gandhi’s Hill temple (Big bangs aren’t the way to heaven, Courier, May 23)?
The upgrade of the temple has got nothing to do with you. As a proud Hindu you should be appalled (do you mean pleased? – Ed) by the upgrade of the temple in your area. The fireworks were part of the celebration.
If those fireworks went off at the neighbouring area which is Hambanati you would not have complained. So why complain about one night of celebration of the Gandhi’s Hill temple? You should be ashamed to say that you are a proud Hindu.
