Uh oh…One Direction in hot water

Parents of local 1D fans get rid of tickets for upcoming show.

Insanely popular British/Irish boyband One Direction has landed in deep trouble.

The five lads’s sweet, clean-cut image has been seriously dented by the leak of online video that went viral within hours.

In the video band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, currently on tour in Peru, can clearly be seen rolling up a joint (cannabis) and smoking it, with Tomlinson remarking it was “odd that police men could not smell the illegal substance”.

Tomlinson’s use of the derogatory n-word in the video has also angered fans.

Parents around the world, including South Africa where the band is scheduled to perform next year, have apparently started getting rid of their prized concert tickets.

Lines stretched out of the Ballito Bay Mall Checkers last week, where North Coast Directioners were desperate to get their hands on the sought-after tickets.

Some 1D fans as young as 11-years-old have joined an online campaign to try out smoking weed, because the band members look “hot doing it”.

There has been no apology from the band or their representatives yet.
