Local book is best Father’s Day buy
Put your feet up and read a book.

North Coast author Gerry Murphy’s recently released third novel, All God’s Children, will make an inspired Father’s Day gift.
The book, based on a true story, will speak to both fathers and teenagers alike, as it deals with issues of parenting and drug abuse
Set at a school in Ireland, where Murphy once worked as a teacher, the novel follows protagonist, teacher Sean Riley.
Riley finds himself sucked into a nightmare world of drug addiction, child prostitution, paedophilia and murder. Tough, resourceful and resilient, he puts his life on the line to wean his heroin and cocaine-addicted pupils off the drugs – and to survive, he has to become as merciless as the drug cartel’s ruthless pushers and hitmen.
Born in Ireland, Murphy now lives in Simbithi Eco Estate in Ballito.
All God’s Children is available at Bargain Books at the Lifestyle Centre and online.
