Youngest Lion to lead

The Ballito Lions held thier annual induction dinner at the Boathouse.

Ballito Lions president Paul Naidoo handed over the reigns to the youngest president to be elected in the club’s history at their annual induction dinner at the Boathouse on Saturday evening.

Lions, guests and their partners enjoyed a formal evening as they welcomed the induction of their new president, Jacques Barlow (35).

Barlow was voted in as president by the current Ballito Lions members.

He said he was honoured to have been chosen. His new position will see him playing an active role in charity work.

“I will spend a lot of time doing fundraising and visiting the various organisations we support.”

However Barlow will not be going at it alone as he will have the support of the previous president.

“You always get guidance from the past chairs, so I will have plenty of help from them.”
