The 12 finalists for Miss Ballito 2014 were selected from 20 entrants at the Coastal Bru Ballito Style evening at La Montagne resort last night.

Anelda Hoffman, Sharné Snyman, Michayla Shone, Pamela Tembe, Divashni Reddy, Janie Botha, Geneé Meintjies, Erin Dickson, Memory Chaputsa, Yolanda Tembe, Chanique Stalley and Kirsten Martins were thrilled to hear their names announced.

In the coming months the finalists will perform charity and fundraising work. Miss Ballito must emulate the Rotary ethos of ‘service above self’ and when she is crowned she will spend the year aiding charity projects.

Sitting on the judging panel are Courier editor Bruce Stephenson, Enterprise Ilembe marketing manager Cheryl Peters, I Love Ballito jock Margeret ‘Mags’ Westerhof, Ballito Specialised Rescue Unit’s Quentin Power and celeb mom and wife Vanessa Marawa.

Miss Ballito will be crowned during October.
