1. Head down to Willard Beach in Ballito everyday until Sunday for all the surfing action at the Mr Price Pro Ballito.
2. If surfing is not your thing check out the extreme stunts by Urban Rage at the retail area at Willard Beach on Saturday and Sunday.
3. Tonight music fans will enjoy the line up at the Mr Price Pro free concert at Salt Rock beach. The action begins at 4pm with indie songwriter Matthew Mole. Hot on his heels will be Gangs of Ballet, ISO and the beautiful ChianoSky. Handsome twin brothers Locinville and SAMA winners Iscream and the Chocolate Stix will round everything off.
4. You want to be part of the action but you don’t like crowds? Take a picnic, some deck chairs and watch the sun set at Salt Rock beach tonight. You can set up far away enough to enjoy the music without missing out on the fun.
5. Mountain bikers, trail runners and children alike will don white clothing for the Aramex Holla Trails Colour Festival on Saturday morning. Holi colour sachets will be on sale at the festival. There will also be live music, and a beer garden and catering will be done by the same company which organised the popular Warrior race. 6. Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds puppy and dog training at Townsend park every Saturday morning. All dog breeds are welcome. Obedience and protection training is done by professional dog handler and instructor, Anthony Du Plessis. 7. The Ballito Lifestyle Centre’s Foodies Market is on the first Saturday of every month outside Zara’s Coffee Shop, from 8am to 2pm. The market supports local produce, focusing on providing fresh, organic and artisanal products.
8. The Salt Rock Craft Club is having a mini-market on Saturday, at 9am in front of Al Fresco’s at the Salt Rock shopping centre.All items on sale will be handmade including a patchwork quilt which will be raffled. 9. On Saturday night you can dance the night away at the final free Mr Price Pro concert at Salt Rock main beach. DJ’s will take the main stage for an evening of pulsing dance tunes.
