Bug Zone holiday club booms

More than 300 kids attended daily.

Organised chaos is the phrase that came to mind after visiting the North Coast Holiday Bible Club that was hosted at All Souls Anglican Church last week.

Just over 300 kids attended the club and there was plenty to do all week long.

The holiday programme was run by several local churches with this year’s theme being “Bug Zone”.

Due to the sheer number of children, they were split into groups and spent time doing different activities while being looked after by over 60 volunteers.

The different activities included a story telling tent, a bug zone where the children made their own bug jars, a massive slide down the hill which was definately a favourite and a science zone with a “nutty professor” to name but a few.
