Christmas Fair Fund to host annual fashion show

The Christmas Fair Fund is pulling out all the stops to keep local fashionistas up to date with this year’s latest Spring/Summer fashion trends.

The stylish Spring fashion show will take place on Thursday, August 28 at Simbithi Country Club and aims to celebrate local talent while raising funds for a number of projects supported by the Christmas Fair Fund.

These include St Luke’s home of healing, the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund, the Lower Tugela Bursary Fund and various schools, crèches and feeding schemes on the north coast.

The line up of designers includes exciting new names like Sibu Msimang, Carol Clark and Larisa Terblanche, as well as Karen Monk Klijnstra and Kathrin Kidger. A funky children’s range from One of a Kind at Burndale, Umhlali, will add a fun element to the morning.

After the show, guests will be able to meet the designers and buy their creations from the pop up shop. A light breakfast with sparkling wine will be served.

Tickets are R300 per person and can be booked through Mariella Kayat on 083 268 3884 or email mariella@thechristmasfairfund.co.za. www.facebook.com/christmasfairfund.
