Miss Ballito finalists at Cane Cutters Resort

Each finalist will make her own potjie with the help of friends or family

The Miss Ballito Pageant finalists, officially sponsored by The SMD Group, are hosting a community day and potjie cook off this Saturday.

In the morning the 11 finalists will host the children of Summer Hill house at Cane Cutters Resort where they will be entertained and have time to play before being whisked off to the Flag Animal Farm. The outing for the 40 children includes food, drinks and loads of fun. Once the children depart the finalists will kick off the potjie cook off at Cane Cutters Resort.

Each finalist will make her own potjie with the help of friends or family. All the potjies must be ready for the tasting at 5pm and then the winner will be announced. The entry fee is R10 and plates of food will be sold for R50 a plate.

All the money collected will go towards the Miss Ballito beneficiaries – Summer Hill house, RA Padyachee School, Osizweni School and North Coast Courier Orphan Fund.

Do not miss this fun filled day starting at 12pm, with big screen rugby SA vs Australia.

This is the perfect opportunity to meet the finalists.

Tickets for the crowning evening of the Miss Ballito pageant on October 17 at R300 each can also be bought from Sonja on 082 821 6850 or wse@yebo.co.za.
