Bring on the bling!

Send your Casual Day photos to us!

Today people all over the country have donned jeans with a sparkle of bling  in celebration of Casual Day’s 20th Birthday.

This year’s theme, Bring on the Bling, expresses a sense of occasion encouraging people to dress up, not down, and throw a little razzle dazzle into their outfits with inspiration from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

Think beads, sequins, glitter, feathers and pearls – posh casual at its best and all to support people with disabilities.

Do not forget to purchase and proudly wear your Casual Day stickers – stickers are sold at Any Edcon Group store: Edgars, Jet, Boardmans, CNA, Red Square, JetMart or LEGIT, Absa branches, Game and Dion Wired stores Shoprite and Checkers stores as well as national and local participating beneficiary organizations.

Casual Day is South Africa’s foremost fundraising campaign for persons with disabilities and is the flagship project of the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in SA (NCPPDSA).

It is a campaign that encourages all South Africans to dress differently for a day to raise funds and awareness of persons with disabilities.

People participating in this campaign must make a R10 donation for a Casual Day sticker earning them the right to dress up.
