Diemersfontein Pinotage on Tap – October 4

The Diemersfontein Pinotage On Tap (POT) festival is back and it is celebrating its 10th birthday.

“We are pulling out all the stops making this year’s event bigger, better and more fun than ever before,” said Diemersfontein PRO and events manager, Rene Reece.

Glasses are soon to be over flowing with the legendary luscious chocolate coffee pinotage on October 4 at the Litchi Orchard.

POT boasts accolades like ‘Best Wine Event in the World’ awarded at the 2014 Drinks International Tourism awards in London.

This is the only South African wine to boast its own dedicated event with the first having taken place at Diemersfontein in Cape Town in 2004.

Since then, the popular POT Parties have lured lovers of the original Coffee-Chocolate Pinotage to festivals in Cape Town, Jo’burg and Durban every year.

“As always, folks can expect an endless flow of delicious Coffee Chocolate Pinotage, literally ‘on tap’, as well as an abundance of delectable food – with the arrival goodie bag, snacks, lunch and desserts all included in the ticket price. Then, naturally there will be fantastic live music from some of SA’s most awesome acts, exciting entertainment and games, and an all-round cool social vibe,” said Reece.
