Music in our hands

Crawford Preparatory North Coast recently attended the annual Crawford Music Festival at Crawford Preparatory La Lucia.

Each year, all pupils learning an instrument have the opportunity to enter the festival. Due to the large number of entrants the festival had to be extended to another day for the first time this year.

Pupils took part in a number of categories. Apart from the individual adjudication for every performance a number of North Coast pupils were acknowledged for their performances in their categories. This included Rebekah Gengan for Most Promising String Player, Daniel Watson for Most Promising Wind Player, and Louis Mendel Roe for Most Promising Guitarist.
