Matric ragers in two accidents

Vehicle abandoned on Ballito Drive

Just one day after the Matric Rage began in Ballito two vehicle accidents allegedly involving the new graduates were reported on the Dolphin Coast.

On Saturday morning a vehicle driving into Ballito crossed over the centre medium and hit another car on Ballito Drive across from the Virgin Active.

No one was injured and the driver abandoned the vehicle.
Later that morning a vehicle, according to reports from the scene, that was coming from the Litchi Party crashed on the N2.

However the young girl’s mother  contacted the Courier on Tuesday, December 2, to confirm that this was not the case.

Tereaza Fortmann said her daughter was not coming from a Rage party but was on her way to Richards Bay to scatter her grandfather’s ashes.

The Corsa hit the barrier and overturned several times.

The young female driver and male passenger were treated for moderate injuries and transported to hospital by IPSS Medical Rescue and other services.
