The donations that Dolphin Coast businesses and individuals make to the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund enable us to positively impact the lives of orphans throughout KwaDukuza municipality.
Ballito based R & C Instrumentation made a generous donation of R40,000 to the Orphan Fund last week.
The company is well established, having been in the area for the past 30 years, and has long been a supporter of the fund.
Owners Sylvia and Steve Edwards said they make every effort to support the fund in caring for orphans and vulnerable children, simply because “it is the right thing to do”.
“We continue to support the Orphan Fund because it is transparent about where all donations are spent and we have peace of mind that our donations are used to the best possible benefit of orphans in our area,” said Sylvia.
Orphan Fund secretary Rose Stephenson expressed appreciation and gratitude to R & C in particular and local businesses in general for ongoing support of the fund and of the work that is facilitated by money raised.
“Donations, big and small, are gratefully received and especially those of this magnitude make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children who cannot help themselves,” she said.
