My God, the Rainmaker

Community calls on Angus Buchan to pray for rain in time of drought.

Caught in the grip of possibly the worst drought in 100 years, sugarcane farmers and other community members gathered to be lead in heartfelt prayer for rain by world renowned pastor, Angus Buchan, who himself has experienced the power of prayer in the face of agricultural disaster.

“Rain is a matter of life and death and the God that I know is the Rainmaker,” declared Buchan in front of a packed Ashton International College pavilion and sports field.

After leading the congregation in a prayer of repentance, he went on to lead them in corporate prayer for rain.

“Every drought ends with rain,” said Buchan, believing that the wind will change direction and bring rain.
