Man arrested, wanted for twenty theft cases
Security company hands wanted man over to Umhlali SAPS.
Last Friday a man was arrested by CMF Security Company after he broke into a house on Ocean View Drive in Shakaskraal.
According to the security company’s director Cobra Moodley, SAPS has been looking for the man for the past few months.
“The suspect was seated on the back seat of a taxi, with a hosepipe, duvet sets and one blanket in a black bin bag. When we approached him, he resisted arrest and attempted to pull a knife on us. We managed to hold him down on the seat, hand cuffed him and cable tied his legs,” said Moodley.
The man was handed over to Umhlali police station.
“There are about 20 theft cases opened up against this man by the community of Shakaskraal,” he said.
