The body of the 28-year-old man that drowned while swimming in the sea near La Mercy lagoon has been found.
The man was swept out by strong rip currents on Monday afternoon.
Police search and rescue divers, the Specialised Rescue Unit and Ethekwini lifeguards searched for the man on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.
The body was located late Tuesday afternoon just north of the tidal pool at Umdloti.
