Weekend crime report
A mother and daughter were held up at gun point in Tinley Manor.
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
· On Friday night a Salt Rock resident woke up to find his house on Hugh Dent Drive broken into and items valued at R19 750 stolen.
· Mega Force Security arrested a man on Friday night, after he was caught trying to steal diesel from a roller machine at Umhlali Quarry.
· On Saturday, an 1100m copper cable was stolen in Shakaskraal, next to Sasko Bakery.
· A girl and her mother were held up at gunpoint on Saturday night, at their home on Ocean Drive, Tinley Manor. Four men locked them in a toilet and took two cell phones, money, jewellery and a laptop.
· On Saturday night a man was rushed to Stanger Hospital after he was stabbed outside a tavern in Shaka’s Head.
