
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
· A Shayamoya resident was assaulted by a group of men on Friday, while he was on his way home. They took R800 from him.
· On Saturday a Ballito resident found his house on Sable Road in Ballito broken into and items valued at R22000 stolen.
· A Shayamoya family was held at gunpoint on Saturday night. The four men demanded money and cell phones. Only a cell phone was taken.
· On Saturday a Shayamoya resident was shot five times. He was taken to hospital and he is in a stable condition.
· In Shakashead, a man was held at gunpoint on Saturday, and R20 000 was taken from him. Apparently he was going to use the money to pay his employees.
· A man was stabbed and killed in Shaka’s Head on Sunday night. His body was found with a stab wound in the neck.
