Weekend crime report
A Ballito resident was assaulted and robbed in Hilary Drive.
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend.
• On Friday morning a man assaulted a Ballito resident with a rake at his house on Hilary Road. The man took an undisclosed amount of money.
• A woman in Nkobongo woke up on Friday morning to find a man inside her house. The man ran away with items valued at R36.
• On Friday night, a woman was raped in Shakashead.
• A Shakashead resident woke up on Friday morning to find his TV, laptop and cell phone stolen.
• On Saturday a family was held at gunpoint by a group of men in Waterfall farm compound, upper Tongaat. Money and a cell phone was taken.
• On Sunday, a pastor’s wife was stabbed inside a church in Nkobongo.
