Two injured after Umhlali accident

Road was temporarily closed after the accident.

Two patients were in a critical but stable condition after a head-on collision on the R102 in Umhlali this morning.

Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue said one patient was transported by Netcare911 and one by IPSS Medical Rescue with advanced life support paramedics on board.

Both patients were transported to private facilities.

“One vehicle was traveling on the R102 from Shakaskraal to Umhlali and the other came from Umhlali in the direction of Shakaskraal when the vehicles crashed,” said Herbst.
