A vehicle lost control on the R102 near Compensation this morning.
Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue said the driver and two children were lucky to escape without any injuries.
A 10-year-old boy was knocked by a car on the R102 near Etete.
Herbst said the boy was in a critical condition but stable.
He was attended to by advanced life support paramedics and transported to hospital by IPSS Medical Rescue.
