Man rescued from cliff

The man sustained fractured ribs, pelvis and was suffering from hypothermia.

A 48-year-old man who was hanging from the side of a cliff in the Nsuze area since Monday evening was rescued this afternoon.

IPSS Medical Rescue technicians and advanced life support paramedics climbed down the side of a waterfall to assist the man.

EMRS and SAPS Search and Rescue were also on scene and assisted to get the man to the top of the cliff.

The man sustained fractured ribs and pelvis and was suffering from hypothermia.

While man claims to have been pushed off the cliff, police will investigate the incident.
