Armed house robbery and kidnapping in Groutville
Robbers shoot man, kidnap two women.
Around 2am this morning, three armed men reportedly broke into a Groutville home, shot the husband and kidnapped his wife and their domestic.
The three men stole a white Toyota Hilux double cab during the robbery and drove off with the two women.
The vehicle’s registration number is ND708378.
According to acting KwaDukuza Cluster Commander, Brigadier Bheki Zondi, the husband was taken to hospital.
Brigadier Zondi said they followed a lead to Manguzi, where the women were apparently dropped off.
Fortunately both women were found later on Wednesday.
