Stabbing at Ballito mall
It is believed a lover's quarrel led to the stabbing incident.
A woman in her twenties was stabbed by another woman at John Dory’s restaurant in the Ballito Lifestyle Centre around midday on Monday.
Owner of John Dory’s, Anton Petzer, said a woman came into the restaurant when she took out a knife.
“She took a swing at one of our waitresses and stabbed her in the side,” said Petzer.
He said with the help of other waiters, they pulled the women apart and kept them aside until police arrived.
The woman was arrested and warrant officer Pillay from Umhlali SAPS said she was apparently from Shaka’s Head.
The injured waitress was transported to hospital and police are investigating.
