Weekend crime report
House breakings reported over the weekend in Ballito and Salt Rock.
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
– A house was broken into on Crest Road, Salt Rock on Friday night. Items valued at R20 000 were stolen.
– A house was broken into on Colwyn Drive, Ballito on Saturday night. Items valued at R69 000 were stolen.
– A Shaka’s Head resident was arrested for being in possession of property suspected to be stolen, on Saturday. The man was selling a black Samsung television.
– A Shakaskraal resident came back from Tongaat on Sunday morning, to found his house broken into. Items valued at R36000 were stolen.
– An Etete resident was shot in his home on Sunday midnight. He sustained a bullet wound to his left arm.
