Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:
• A woman was held up at knife point next to the Tinley Manor railway station on Friday. The robber took her money, cellphone and wallet with bank cards.
• A Ballito resident had her house on Compensation Road broken into on Saturday. Items valued at R56 600 were stolen.
• A woman’s handbag was allegedly stolen at Lifestyle Spar on Saturday. Apparently while shopping, she was approached by someone who was telling her about a recipe for cooking ribs. Afterwards she realised that her handbag, which was in the trolley, was missing.
