Protesters are burning tyres in Stanger Heights

Unhappy about a construction company's labour, people began protesting in Stanger heights earlier today.

About 40 people began protest action in Stanger Heights at 10.30am this morning.

KwaDukuza SAPS‘s Constable S Maglala said the protesters were unhappy about a construction company’s employment system.

“Protesters have blocked Clover Road with burning tyres and trees,” she said.

“”The Public Order Police have arrived to control the protest.”
