Unconscious driver narrowly avoids accident, Ballito

A good Samaritan did not hesitate to smash open her window in order to open the car door.

A driver lost control of her vehicle and drove into oncoming traffic,  just managing to miss passing by cars by seconds, after passing out while driving up Ballito Drive this morning.

The man in the vehicle behind her stopped and smashed her window in order to open the door to assist her.

A traffic officer happened to be driving past and quickly took control of the situation, diverting traffic around the woman’s vehicle.

Paramedics removed her from her car and took her to hospital.

The woman is said to be in a stable condition and responsive.
