Mother and daughter die while crossing the road in Tongaat
Tragedy in central Tongaat this morning.
Two woman believed to be a mother (45) and daughter (15) were killed in central Tongaat while attempting to cross the road this morning.
Paul Herbst from IPSS Medical Rescue said the pair crossed the road in front of a tip-off truck near the Tongaat taxi rank.
“Both victims were killed on impact. Paramedics declared them dead on arrival at the scene of the accident.”
