New youth choir auditions in Ballito
Auditions for the 2016/2017 choir year will be held on Monday, September 12 at 4.30 pm at Curro Mt Richmore in Salt Rock.
A new youth choir is being launched in the Ballito area.
The choir will be performing a wide variety of music, while bringing together students from all cultures and religions.
Stiaan van Moerkerken, the director of the new Ballito Youth Choir, has lived in Ballito for two years and believes that there is massive potential in the field of arts and culture among the youth in Ballito.
“I am starting the choir because some schools are unable to offer these arts due to a limited number of pupils that would like to participate,” said Van Moerkerken.
Now these budding young artists will have the opportunity to shine with the Ballito Youth Choir.
Auditions for the 2016/2017 choir year will be held today (Monday, September 12) at 4.30 pm at Curro Mt Richmore in Salt Rock.
This is a non-profit initiative and the choir is open to all pupils who will be in Grade 8-12 during 2017.
