One dead, one suffered leg amputation in N2 Zinkwazi accident
The N2 has been closed due to an accident between Zinkwazi and the Tugela bridge.
Two vehicles collided head-on on the N2 between Zinkwazi and the Tugela bridge this morning.
“The passenger of a small utility vehicle has been declared dead.
“Another passenger is entrapped and a third has suffered a lower limb amputation,” said IPSS Medical Rescue‘s Samantha Meyrick.
“The fourth passenger was thrown from the back and has minor injuries.
“The driver of a small car is also entrapped and is being removed and a passenger had minor injuries.”

The road has been closed and traffic is being re-directed onto the R102.
