Foxhill young beauties appeal for help

"We are asking for assistance from the community in making four young ladies' dreams come true" - Rose Kuzwayo

Four young ladies from Sizani Combined Primary in Foxhill, Umhlali are eager to take part in the Miss Heritage Pageant.

Simpumene Zulu (14), Nonkululeko Khumalo (14), Lihle Mthethwa (13) and Cebile Mkhwanazi (13) have been selected to travel to Port Elizabeth in December to take part after getting the top spots during their local school round of the pageant.

They are asking for help from the community to raise funds for the trip.

It will cost R1500 per girl for them to take part and Sizani Primary is appealing to the community for assistance in raising the funds in order to give these four a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The Miss Heritage pageant is organised by 1-World Networkz, who are involved with rural schools across Southern Africa.

If all goes well after the pageant in Port Elizabeth one of the four young ladies will be heading off to Victoria Falls to take part in the Miss Heritage finals with all expenses paid.

Sizani headmistress Rose Kuzwayo said, “This would be a fantastic opportunity for the girls but they unfortunately cannot afford the R1500 to make the trip, therefore we are asking for assistance from the community in making four young ladies’ dreams come true.”

If you would like to support one of the girls in her trip to Port Elizabeth, contact Khuzwayo on 082 505 2866.
