Nothing gives flavour like family. The winners of the potjiekos competition in Blythedale over the weekend: Sean Steyn and his daughter Lexi, Kyle Green with his son Carter and wife, Michelle.

The delicious aroma of potjiekos hung heavy in the atmosphere over Blythedale on Saturday.

There was even a ‘puffing Billy’ train for the kids to enjoy.

Though there were plenty of ‘master’ chefs whipping up delicious potjies, Kyle Green and Sean Steyn were crowned potjiekos champions by judge Eugene Zeelie for their fantastic lamb potjie.
