There is life after HIV is the Nkobongo message of hope
Those who were HIV positive were encouraged to take their treatment (ARVs) and those who were HIV negative to keep on practicing safe sex and regularly get tested.
Nkobongo residents sang messages of hope for those who are living with HIV/Aids as they marched through the township peacefully last Thursday.
Those who were HIV positive were encouraged to take their treatment (ARVs) and those who were HIV negative to keep on practicing safe sex and regularly get tested.
They also shouted messages against drug dealers in their township making it clear that there is no place for drugs in Nkobongo.

Councillor Ali Ngidi urged the youth to always be aware of the consequences of their actions.
“Your behaviour will determine your future. therefore abstain from drugs and use protection should you be sexually active. If you are already HIV positive ensure that you take your treatment and know that life does go on,” he said.
