ENTER: Seeff / North Coast Courier Orphan Fund fishing fun day
This time around things are going to be done a little differently
It is nearly time to dust off your fishing gear for the Seeff / North Coast Courier Orphan Fund Fishing Fun Day on Saturday, April 1.
This time around things are going to be done a little differently.
It is not a fishing ‘competition’ and there will be no measuring and weighing of fish and as such – no prizes for the biggest fish.
There will however be loads of excellent lucky draw prizes up for grabs throughout the morning and families are encouraged to bring their braai’s and picnic baskets and make a morning of it.
The focus is on family fun and affording fisherman the rare opportunity to fish the exceptionally productive, untouched waters of the Dudley Pringle dam, which is not normally open to the public.
An online selfie competition will also be held on the day through The North Coast Courier Facebook and Twitter pages, where people can submit their selfies with the fish they caught to the hashtag #NCCFunFishing.
Another exciting addition is that anglers can target any species of fish in the dam (including bass, tilapia and barble) – fishing with bait or artificial lures (some conditions apply so make sure to read the rules when you enter).
A fantastic kids bass fishing clinic will also be held during the course of the morning.
Space is limited and anglers are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment as the previous event at the dam did sell out.
You can enter at Hook Line and Sinker Ballito or Salt Rock or below.
The cost for bank anglers will be R100 and R150 for boat anglers.
Please deposit your entrance fee electronically to the following banking details:
