New wheels for Vision 153

A recent car crash left the charity without the means to deliver food to the hundreds of disadvantaged people who rely on them

Vision 153 are back on the road doing good deeds thanks to the input of Good Samaritans on the Dolphin Coast.

A recent car crash left the charity without the means to deliver food to the hundreds of disadvantaged people who rely on them and sparked worries that Vision 153 would be unable to continue their good work across the North Coast.

Enter IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS Security Operations, who together have loaned a vehicle to Vision 153 for long term use.

“In addition, IPSS Security will install a car tracker and also pay for the vehicle to be insured,” said Vision 153’s Nelia Hulin.

“Killarney Toyota in Stanger have also said they would cover all the costs for maintenance on the car.”

At present the charity is working on collecting all the funds pledged by various companies in order to either purchase the loan car from IPSS, or to possibly buy a new vehicle for their use.

IPSS Security Operations’ Dylan Meyrick said they were happy to help this charity continue its excellent work with the neediest in the community.

“IPSS Security Operations has always believed the best way to invest in the community is to give back, we hope the loan of this vehicle will enable Vision 153 to keep bringing hope to the Dolphin Coast.”

Hulin and the Vision 153 team thanked all the companies who opened their hearts and their wallets to enable them to continue providing help to the less fortunate.
