Make your business work for God

BAMSA is an international organisation ploughing millions into Africa to grow the future business leaders and entrepreneurs that the continent needs to move forwards

Breaking the shackles of poverty is a challenge that all businesses must tackle in South Africa, and next week a workshop is being offered for business leaders to show them how they can contribute.

Business as Mission SA (BAMSA) is hosting a conference next week from Monday to Wednesday (October 2, 3 and 4) at the All Souls Anglican Church in Salt Rock.

BAMSA is an international organisation ploughing millions into Africa to grow the future business leaders and entrepreneurs that the continent needs to move forwards.

Local and international speakers will give presentations on God’s call through business, the BAMSA approach, how you can partner up, reviewing different types of micro businesses, shark tank competition, networking and more.

BAMSA’s mission statement is to encourage business men and women to understand God’s redemptive work through business in the world.

They aim to help change the message that Christian business people are hearing and mobilise them for action by asking questions such as: what if the untapped business resources in the churches globally were released for missional impact? What if more Christian business people were world-leaders at tackling global evils through business?

Using the Farming God’s Way method, the land behind the Anglican Church now makes over R8000 a month on less than half a hectare.

The conference will focus on a few central topics, namely: the Farming God’s Way method, using aquaphonics in fish farming, best beekeeping practices, keeping and farming with poultry and the ABC’s of the bread business.

For more information on BAMSA visit their Facebook page: BAMSA 17 Conference. Registration for the conference will cost R500, to book your place contact Denis Fortune at 082 773 9016.
