Missing child alert

UPDATE:

Princess has been found unharmed.

Dolphin Coast residents are asked to be on the lookout for an eight-year-old girl missing since about 11.30am this morning.

Princess Mthembu is a student at Sizani Primary, where all the children were let out early due to the heavy weather today (Tuesday).

According to Carol Ruiter, who drives Auntie Carol’s Bus, she very afraid of storms.

“The school was let out early so when I got there most of the children had scattered already. When we started looking for Princess it became clear that nobody knew where she was.”

The teachers and staff of Sizani are looking for Princess and her parents have been informed.

One of her friends was also called but she did not know where the missing girl was.

At present no case has been opened with the police as they are still hoping to find her before the end of the day.

Princess was last seen wearing a dark blue raincoat over her school uniform and carrying a pink backpack.
