WEATHER ALERT: Heavy rains batter KZN coast

Photos and videos of heavy rains and strong winds across the South Coast, moving towards Durban have already flooded social media.

Severe thunder storms, gusting winds, hail and heavy rainfall have hit parts of Durban today and are expected to hit the North Coast.

According to SA Weather Service Forcaster Wisani Naluleke, the severe weather is caused by a cut off low system and has so far resulted in torrential conditions on the South Coast.
