“I thought it was a prank call”
Mervyn Dhaver won a brand new Chevy Utility 1,4l from Checkers over the weekend
It is not every day you get a new car for nothing, and you cannot blame someone if they do not believe it.
Mervyn Dhaver won a brand new Chevy Utility 1,4l from Checkers over the weekend.
“When they called to tell me I had won I did not believe it,” Dhaver told the Courier.
“I thought it was a prank caller. Then when I called the number back to catch out the prankster, I realised that it was for real.
“I never win anything!”
Dhaver was joined by his family who were also excited by the brand new Chevy.
