Narcotics Anonymous coming to Ballito
There is always a way out. Do not suffer in isolation, seek help and free yourself from the cycle of drug abuse

Substance abuse is a problem in every community and – though you might not know it – in almost every family.
Many people think upmarket areas like Ballito are somehow immune to the phenomenon of illegal narcotics but the truth is addiction does not discriminate between cities and rural areas.
This is why a new chapter of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is opening in Ballito.
Meetings will take place every Saturday at the Ballito municipal library from 5pm to 6.15pm and all are welcome, even if you do not want to share. The first meeting will be on November 4. All meetings are free.

The NA area service committee said previously the closest NA support groups were in Stanger and Umhlanga and that Ballito needed a group to help those struggling with this demon to free themselves.
NA does not exist to tell you what to do, or to lecture you.
One of the core principles of the fellowship is the power of sharing stories and helping each other, addict to addict.”

NA is appealing to everyone who is fighting addiction, whether it be your own or a family members, to attend their first open meeting on November 4 to see what it is all about. Private meetings will later be set up for addicts alone to share with one another.
NA is an internationally established non-profit, non-governmental organisation with thousands of fellowships across the world working to help those who have become trapped in the cycle of drug abuse.
There is only one requirement for membership: the desire to stop using.
