A 32-year-old man lost his life after a tragic drowning incident at Zinkwazi lagoon on Sunday.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue, KwaDukuza Lifeguards retrieved the victim, who was swimming in the lagoon that afternoon, and CPR was initiated.
Unfortunately, the man was submerged for a prolonged period of time and after 40 minutes, CPR efforts were stopped.
