WATCH: Community rallies against pay parking in Stanger
A memorandum was handed to a representative from the municipality

Stanger residents gathered at the Stanger Manor terminal in Manor Drive this morning, to protest against KwaDukuza municipality’s new pay parking system.
The system launched by the KwaDukuza municipality will see motorists in Stanger, Ballito, Shakaskraal and Umhlali pay R6 an hour for public bays.
So far parking marshalls have been seen operating only in Stanger.

The protest, which has not been approved by the municipality, saw residents drive from Stanger Manor terminal to Stanger CBD, blocking the main entrance and exit points in the town.
