The first accident resulted in another accident.

A woman was killed and 15 others injured after two consecutive accidents at the entrance to Mandeni this morning.
According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst, the first accident was allegedly caused by poor visibility across the road due to smoke from a sugar cane fire close by.
Further vehicles collided with the wreckage.
