UPDATE: Body of drowned teenager found – Sheffield

The body was found a few meters from where the boy had drowned.

The body of a 13-year-old boy who drowned in Sheffield last Saturday has washed up this morning.

According to KwaDukuza lifeguard supervisor Bongani Xulu the body was found just a few metres from where the boy had drowned.

“All necessary emergency services were on scene.”

The boy’s identity is being withheld until his next of kin have been informed.
