Fishing fun at Pringle Dam

93 anglers dropped a line on the day in search of a catch that would see them walking away with a fantastic prize.

Dudley Pringle Dam once again proved to be an awesome setting for the latest North Coast Courier Orphan Fund fishing day on Sunday.

93 anglers dropped a line on the day in search of a catch that would see them walking away with a fantastic prize.

Overall – including sponsorship, food sales and the raffle – over R20 000 was raised for the good work the Orphan Fund is doing on the Dolphin Coast.

The beautiful Dudley Pringle Dam again played host to a great North Coast Courier Orphan Fund fishing day.

Main sponsors Tongaat Hulett and Trappers Trading helped the team from the Courier make it a day that everyone could enjoy with fantastic lucky draw prizes, a treasure hunt, raffle and of course the big prize for the best selfie with a catch.

When all was said and done, young Hanna Brown was crowned the winner of the day’s fishing selfie competition.

Orphan Fund coordinator June Mdolo thanked everyone who supported this fun day, with a special word for everyone who shared, liked and tagged on social media to get the word out there.
