Fresh coat of paint for Salt Rock

The SRNW committee is planning a 'door to door meet and greet on the street' campaign on March 10.

Armed with paint and good spirits, the Salt Rock Neighbourhood Watch (SRNW) took it upon themselves to refurbish a total of 59 street name signs in Salt Rock and to look at replacing those that are beyond repair.

The project was funded by the contributions from neighbourhood watch members.

“We are very proud to say that every aspect of this project was carried out by members of the SRNW as well as a few volunteers from the Salt Rock community, which meant we could keep costs down and supply a finished product that the community can be proud of.

“There are still about 30 signs that need to be re-painted” said SRNW chairperson Nathalie Struwe

Struwe said the committee was planning a ‘door to door meet and greet on the street’ campaign on March 10.

If you are interested in joining the SRNW or would like to find out more, email Nathalie Struwe at info@srnw.co.za.
