UPDATE: Sashni on life support after emergency operation
"I don't know what to do or say anymore. We are just praying."

The 27-year-old Stanger woman who was hit by a brick during a Shaka’s Head electricity protest, is back on life support.
Sashni Daniel’s father Kovi, told the Courier his daughter was ” in a very bad state” after she underwent a second emergency operation on Monday to relieve pressure from her brain.

“Sashni is back in ICU and is in a coma. She also picked up meningitis.
“I don’t know what to do or say anymore. We are just praying.”
The Stanger woman had been travelling on the 102 when she was struck by a brick that was thrown at the car during a service delivery protest.
She suffered a fractured skull, three blot clots and swelling in the brain.
She had a sudden turn around last week where she was fully responsive for a few days.
Her condition has since deteriorated.
